Warranty

All Nick Hatia pieces are handmade in New York or, if necessary, abroad. We offer a manufacturer's warranty with every custom ring and stand by the integrity of every piece we create.

Our warranty covers anything directly related to the manufacturing process. With designs that include diamonds, there is a risk of stone loss due to normal wear and tear. We will repair any damage free of charge within three months. We will pass on the repair cost after three months. We carefully inspect each ring to determine the cause of the damage and whether the repair is covered by our warranty. If we determine that the damage was caused by the wearer rather than the manufacturer, we will gladly repair your ring, but you will be responsible for the repair cost. For example, if we discover a diamond is missing because a prong is broken or lifted, this indicates the wearer damaged the ring and, as a result, it is not covered by the warranty. The risk of stone loss can be reduced by properly caring for your ring. The manufacturer's warranty covers any manufacturing-related loss. Inspection: We recommend that you have your diamond or gemstone ring inspected twice a year and repaired if necessary. You can ship it to us for inspection if you are located in a remote location.

Insurance: We strongly advise you to purchase ring insurance to ensure that it is repaired or replaced as needed. Even a perfectly made ring can be damaged if it is knocked against a hard surface.

What Will Void Your Warranty?  It is common for jewelers to be able to void a manufacturer's warranty if the rules are not followed. For example, bringing our engagement ring to a third-party jeweler may render it void. Because each jeweler is autonomous, it is best to stick with your original jeweler for the best results. The jeweler who created the ring and is well-versed in their product is the best person to handle any necessary adjustments. We are always happy to assist you in fine-tuning or adjusting your ring.
